The Kinesologic Muscle Test

An important attribute to Kinesology is the application of the so called "Muscle Test". Because the body reacts to its environment in a very sensitive way, we permanently perceive changes in our energy system. The Kinesologic Muscle Test was developed to better visualize changes in the energy system.

Simply put: law of the lever is applied, which is known from the fields of physics. The tonicitiy of an indicator muscle (often the M. Deltoideus) is checked by applying gentle pressure onto the outstreched arm. If the energy flows freely, the arm will resist perceptible. If a negative influence is present, the arm cannot withstand the pressure and sinks.

Thus, the therapist gets a body feedback such as "strong" or "weak"; "yes" or "no". By active participation, the client is able to witness and appraise in a cooperative way where the "passage" is headed to.
